In 2022 The Wellness Tribe was established by Holistic Therapist Pamela Golden.

We are a collaboration of highly skilled & qualified practitioners who’s experience and passion for health has tailored a bespoke approach to achieving optimum well-being.

Workshops

The creative mindfulness method is a six week course. It is compatible with the SPHE primary school program. We can facilitate the workshops in your school or in our own private setting. This module will be an introduction to teaching mindfulness and meditation to children in fun and creative ways.

We will explore how to teach children basic mindfulness techniques and how to help children understand and cope with difficult emotions. We will also explore how to help children develop self-kindness and self­ compassion. A core part of this module will be developing our own mindfulness and self compassion practice.

Baby Massage Ireland promotes nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents. caregivers and children are loved. valued and respected throughout the world community.

Baby Massage is the very special art of using nurturing touch to communicate with your baby, to show them that they are loved, welcomed and respected and that they can feel safe and secure in their new world. It is a wonderful way of bonding with your baby as it works on an emotional as well as a physical level by developing closeness between parent and baby that has lifelong benefits.

Parents/Caregivers massage their own baby using a specifically designed series of strokes. This series combines Indian and Swedish massage along with Reflexology techniques and some gentle yoga based exercises into a routine designed to be beneficial for infants.

Our vision is looking after and supporting your employees overall health and wellbeing onsite using lifestyle medicine to improve health and performance.

Knowing AND Doing is the key to success. Our mission is based on the concept of understanding your health choices and how to successfully make positive changes which reflect into the workplace.

Using a combination of skills such as health coaching, functional and lifestyle medicine, nutrition, training and naturopathy. We have created specialty packages and online offerings for corporate workplace. Training is informative and skills based. It can be provided onsite and online depending on numbers.

All employees will benefit from the online foundational course focusing on the main pillars of health. This can also be provided in person.Those with underlying health issues will benefit from the specialty courses.

Speciality training targets employees living and working with chronic illness, menopause and neuropsycological issues such as anxiety and stress. All of these situations can create absenteeism and underperformance. The objective of the learning is to Break the Cycle. Our Pilates classes are designed to improve mobility, flexibility and posture. Emer can incorporate sitting, standing and mat-based exercises into each session depending on the space available. Each exercise can be adapted and advanced to suit all levels.

Our Yoga Classes work at physical and emotional levels. It builds strength, flexibility and balance in the body, reducing the risk of injury. While on an emotional level, yoga is an effective way to release emotional energy and the chemical response to stress within the body so as to reduce the risk of disease downstream. Other associated benefits include relaxation, optimal lung function, emotional balance and improved sleep quality.

Complementary Health

I have been working in the field of Complementary Health for almost 18 years. Specialising in Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Sports Injuries, Stress Management, Holistic Nutrition & Aromatherapy. I have attained further training in Fertility Reflexology, Dry Needling, Cupping Therapy, Ante Natal Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and many other Massage add-ons. I am also a member of Baby Massage Ireland and a trained Baby Massage Instructor.

Self-Compassion & Mindfulness

I understand that life is busy and fast paced and it can be difficult to find a healthy work/life balance. I get it! I’ve been there. On my own personal journey I realised that in order to be fully present and not “so busy” or restless I had to embark on a path of self discovery, this led me to the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness, allowing me to quieten my mind and simply be in the “hear & now”.

In 2018 I began training in the Creative Mindfulness For Kids Method under the guidance of child psychologist Louise Shanagher. I now offer Wellness Workshops for children and teenagers based on the creative mindfulness curriculum. I’ve also qualified as a Health & Wellness Coach with the Institute of Health Science.

Corporate Wellness

I have been working in the Corporate Wellness sector since 2009 offering On-Site Massage & Wellness Workshops and today I have expanded this offering to some of Irelands largest Pharmaceutical Company’s, Community Organisations and Schools.

In 2022 The Wellness Tribe was born . Having the advantage of working on site I could see there was a need to offer employees more than just on site massage. To make a difference we want our clients to feel supported, and educate them in all areas of wellness so that they may have the tools necessary to help them as they journey through life

My name is Orla Power, owner of Pops Fitness. I’m a health and lifestyle coach based fully online. My qualifications are in nutrition, fitness instruction, personal training, group fitness and pre and postnatal coaching.

Coaching

My coaching is all based on creating healthier habits and lifestyle changes and what I believe are the most important health foundations which include areas from sleep, to fibre intake to day to day activity.

 

I cater for those who have fat loss goals, who want to maintain their weight but build a healthier lifestyle or those who struggle with weight gain and need to increase theirs along with strength.

 

I have clients who attend the gym, who workout from home or who just focus on short walks daily, there is no set exercise rules with me, we work with what works for you.

My passion is showing those who think they don’t have the time that they do, busy mams figuring out how to give time back to themselves and their health, keeping healthy during pregnancy and recovering fully afterwards including returning to exercise, to beating all the fad and restrictive diets and showing people you can 110% live and enjoy life and all it brings and still have health as number one and make progress.

My name is Emer O Brien. I am an Oxygen Advantage breathwork instructor, a Pilates teacher and running technique coach. How we breathe affects every aspect of our health and wellbeing.

 

I teach simple scientifically-based breathing exercises to help decrease stress on the body and mind. These exercises also help to improve concentration, attention span and so much more!
